The BJP will aggressively market the "Narendra Modi-for-PM" message across the country in a bid to reach more than 10 crore people, the party said on Tuesday Dec 24,2013 after a strategy meet aimed at making its campaign for the 2014 general elections sharper and more effective.
As part of the drive, BJP workers will collect funds under what the party calls a "one vote, one note" programme.
"We will run a Modi-for-PM campaign across the country, people can contribute from as low as Rs. 10 to a maximum of Rs. 1,000 towards this," BJP general secretary Ananth Kumar said.
BJP is looking to build on its spectacular showing in the recently held Assembly elections in four major states; it swept three states and was the single-largest party in the fourth, Delhi. It had won 407 of the 589 seats for which counting was held on December 8,2013
