The 2014 Shanghai Rolex Masters tennis tournament played on outdoor hard courts  was the sixth edition of the Shanghai ATP Masters 1000, classified as an ATP World Tour Masters 1000 event on the 2014 ATP World Tour which took place at Qizhong Forest Sports City Arena,Shanghai,China from October 5 - 12, 2014

Novak Djokovic(Serbia) was the two-time defending champion, but lost to Roger Federer(Swiss) in the semifinals.

Ivan Dodig(Croatia) and Marcelo Melo(Brazil)were the defending champions, but lost in the QF to Rohan Bopanna(India) and  Florin Mergea(Romania)

Bob and Mike Bryan of USA won the title, defeatingJulien Benneteau and Edouard Roger Vasselin of France 6-3,7-6 in the finals

  

American twins Bob and Mike Bryan became the first pair to win all nine ATP World Tour Masters 1000 tournaments after taking the men’s doubles title.

The 35-year-olds defeated French Open champions Julien Benneteau and Edouard Roger-Vasselin 6-2, 7-6 for their 101st career title in their 152nd final.
