India has won 2 Gold;6 Silver and 9 Bronze Medals and was ranked 6th in the medals table.


Gold Medal
1)Vikas Gowda won the men's Discuss Throw Gold Medal with 64.90 Metres(where Mohammad Samimi(Iran)won the Silver with 61.93 Metres and Ahmed Mohammad Dheeb(Qatar)won the Bronze with 60.82 Metres

 2)Nirmala Sheoran, Tintu Luka, Anu Mariam Jose and M.R. Poovamma wins the Gold Medal  in the women’s 4x 400m relay with a timing of 3:32.26 as against the WC qualifying time of 3:33.00

Chen Lin,Cheng Chong,Geng Qingyu and Zhao Yanmin of China win the Silver Medal(3:35.31)and
Asami Chiba,Sayaka Aoki,Satomi Kubokora and Manami Kira of Japan wins the Bronze Medal(3:35.72)

Silver Medal
1)Poovamma M R won the Silver Medal in the women's 400 Metres clocking 53.37 seconds(where Zhao Yanmin(PRC)won the Gold with 52.49 seconds and Gretta Taslakian(Lebanon)won the Bronze with 53.43 seconds

 2)Prem Kumar Kumaravel wins the Silver Medal in the Men's Long jump by jumping 7.92 Metres where Wang Jianan(PRC)wins the Gold Medal by jumping 7.95 Metres and Tang Gongchen(PRC)wins the Bronze Medal by jumping 7.89 Metres

3)Jitin Thomas shares the Silver Medal in the Men's High Jump by jumping 2.21 Metres alongwith Keyvan Ghanbarzadeh(Iran)who jumped 2.21 Metres whereas Bi Xiaoliang(PRC)wins the Gold Medal by jumping 2.21 Metres.Bronze Medal not awarded to anyone.

4)Renjith Maheswary wins the Silver Medal in the Men's Triple Jump(16.76 Metres)where Gold Medal was won by Cao Shuo(PRC)-16.77 Metres and Bronze Medal was won by Arpinder Singh 16.58 Metres

5)Asha Roy wins the silver Medal in the Women's 200 Metres by clocking 23.71 seconds where Viktoriya Zyabkina( Kazak)wins the Gold Medal 23.62 seconds and Dutee Chand(India) wins the Bronze Medal by clocking 23.82 seconds

6)Sudha Singh wins the Silver Medal in the Women's 3000 Metres Steeplechase (9:56.27)where Ruth Jebet(Bahrain)wins the Gold Medal(9:40.84)and Pak Kum Hyang(North Korea)wins the Bronze Medal(10:09.80)
