Siddaramaiah(64) sworn-in as CM of Karnataka -Monday May 13,2013

 

Siddaramaiah(64) sworn-in as the 22nd Chief Minister of Karnataka by the Governor H R Bharadwaj on Monday May 13,2013 at the Kanteerava Stadium in Bangalore before about 50,000 people who gathered at the stadium to witness the event.

  • Election to the Karnataka's 14th legislative assembly was held in 223 constituencies across the state onMay 5,2013 and counting May 8,2013

  • The INC Party returned to power on its own after a gap of 9 years with a comfortable majority of 121 seats in the 225-member assembly
