On Monday May 06,2013 the museum will be unveiled to the press and officially opened by Ulvaeus, Lyngstad and Andersson -- or Bjoern, Frida and Benny, as they are better known .The doors will open to the public from Tuesday May 07,2013
The museum, backed by former member Bjorn Ulvaeus, features some of the band's glitzy stage costumes, instruments and other mementos.
Among the other exhibits in the museum are a room documenting how the band met in the 1960s and a recreation of a cottage on the island of Viggso that they used for writing songs.
Visitors will also be able to sing along to Abba songs alongside life-size holograms of the group.
The museum also includes a Swedish Music Hall of Fame and an exhibition chronicling the history of Swedish popular music

ABBA is an acronym of the first letters of the band members' first names (Agnetha, Benny, Bjorn and Anni-Frid)
The group dominated the 1970s disco scene with their glitzy costumes, kitsch dance routines and catchy melodies and have sold some 378 million albums worldwide, outdone only by Elvis Presley and the Beatles
The Group became one of the most commercially successful in the history of pop music, topping the charts worldwide from 1972 to 1982
During the band's active years, Fältskog and Ulvaeus were a married couple, as were Lyngstad and Andersson, although both couples later divorced
ABBA broke up in late 1982, Andersson and Ulvaeus achieved success writing music for the stage while Lyngstad and Fältskog pursued solo careers with mixed success.
The Group's last public performance together as ABBA was on the British TV programme ''The Late,Late Breakfast Show (live from Stockholm) on Dec 11, 1982.
All four members made their last public appearance, as four friends more than as ABBA, in January 1986, when they recorded a video of themselves performing an acoustic version of "Tivedshambo", which was the first song written by their manager, Stig Anderson, for a Swedish TV show honouring Anderson on his 55th birthday
Their popularity has continued to grow over the years, with the 1999 hit musical "Mamma Mia" and the 2008 film of the same name starring Meryl Streep bringing their music to a whole new generation of fans.
