Jaipur Traffic Police Uses Jasprit Bumrah No-Ball Photo For Road Safety, Bowler Not Amused

Jaipur Traffic Police Uses Jasprit Bumrah No-Ball Photo For Road Safety

Indian fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah let his ire out on Twitter after ads mocking his no-ball in the Champions Trophy final were put up by Jaipur Police.

"Don’t cross the line. You know it can be costly” was put up on billboard ads by Jaipur Police with the picute of Bumrah over stepping in the final against Pakistan on Sunday June 18,2017

Jasprit Bumrah over stepped in the Champions Trophy final when he got the wicket of Fakhar Zaman. The left-hander was in single-digits then and went on to score a match-winning hundred.

The bowler was clearly frustrated at the mocking and found it to be disrespectful, he tweeted saying "well done Jaipur traffic police this shows how much respect you get after giving your best for the country."

@traffic_jpr well done Jaipur traffic police this shows how much respect you get after giving your best for the country.

Then he put out another tweet saying, "No offence, fine it is. Wot disrespect in it.? Everyone gives their best to their Nation, jpr Police too. Cricketers shud stop acting special,” said one of the user. “That’s not even close to disrespecting. Didn’t it turn costly to cross the line? What’s wrong if it can be a good example for others?,"

@traffic_jpr But don't worry I won't make fun of the mistakes which you guys make at your work .because I believe humans can make mistakes

Jasprit Bumrah has been a key bowler for India in the past couple of years, cementing his spot in the limited overs team. He is currently being rested and is not part of the squad that is touring the West Indies.
