Micromax has unveiled its new Canvas Evok smartphone range.
Under the new Evok-series, Micromax has introduced the first smartphone Canvas Evok priced at Rs. 8,499.
The dual-SIM (Micro-SIM cards) Canvas Evok runs dated Android 5.0 Lollipop.
It features a 5.5-inch HD (720x1280 pixels) IPS display with a pixel density of 267ppi.
It also sports a Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection on top.
The smartphone is powered by a 1.4GHz octa-core Snapdragon 415 processor.
It features an Adreno 405 GPU, 3GB of RAM, and 16GB of built-in storage that is expandable via microSD card (up to 32GB).
As for connectivity options, the Canvas Evok features 4G LTE connectivity, supporting both FDD-LTE Band 3 (1800MHz) and TDD-LTE Band 40 (2300MHz); Micro-USB v2.0 with USB OTG functionality; A-GPS; Bluetooth, and Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n.
Other features of the handset include a 13-megapixel rear autofocus camera with LED flash, a 5-megapixel front fixed-focus camera with LED flash, and a 3000mAh battery.
The new smartphone will be available exclusively via Flipkart starting Tuesday May 17,2016
