Cricket South Africa (CSA) on Friday announced ODI squad for the upcoming triangular ODI series featuring West Indies, Australia where Tabraiz Shamsi received his maiden call-up while premier pacer Dale Steyn failed to make the cut.
The triangular series is scheduled to be played in the Caribbean islands in June 2016 which will feature West Indies and Australia as well.
The 26-year-old left-arm wrist spinner, currently playing for Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) in Indian Premier League (IPL) 2016, will become the 116th player to represent the Proteas in the 50-overs format if he gains selection into the starting XI.
