M S Dhoni became the third captain, after Allan Border and Ricky Ponting, to lead his country to 100 ODI wins Thursday March 19,2015

 

With the victory against Bangladesh by 109 Runs in the QF 2 2015 ICC Cricket World Cup @ MCG M S Dhoni became the third captain, after Allan Border and Ricky Ponting, to lead his country to 100 ODI wins

M S Dhoni's achievement has placed him in the company of  Ricky Ponting, who won 165 out of the 230 ODIs he led Australia in over 10 years.

  

Allan Border was successful in 107 of the 178 ODIs he was captain in, while M S  Dhoni reached the 100 landmark in his 178th ODI.

The late South African skipper Hansie Cronje won 99 matches out of only 138.
