Katy Perry was dressed to impress at the launch of her new philanthropic project on Thursday June 12,2014
The
Firework singer arrived at the Nokia theater in downtown Los Angeles
rocking her always-changing locks and a colorful geometric-print frock.
Katy Perry's new project Make Roar Happen with office supply chain Staples, will
raise funds to provide materials to teachers and students.
'Staples will donate $1 million to DonorsChoose.org, a charity that
has helped fund more than 450,000 classroom projects for teachers and impacted
more than 11 million students'
It
was also announced, as part of the project, that fans will be invited
to enter a contest to attend a concert and even meet the recording
artist by making a purchase of $10 or more at any Staples.

awareness and funds for DonorsChoose.org, and to remind my fans that a
small gesture can make a large impact on the very basic materials
classrooms need for teachers to help students reach their full potential',Katy Perry said.
