Australia’s Two Formula One World Champions - Sir Jack Brabham and Alan
Jones, were honoured in a special ceremony before Sunday’s 2013 Rolex
Formula 1 Australian Grand Prix.
Bronze busts of Sir Jack Brabham, World Champion in 1959, 1960 and 1966, and Alan Jones, Australia’s second World Champion in 1980, were unveiled by the Premier of Victoria, Dr. Denis Napthine, at the circuit which staged its first Australian Grand Prix six decades ago.
Kimi Raikkonen(33) has won the 2013 Formula 1 Rolex Australian Grand Prix beating Ferrari’s Fernando Alonso by 12.4 seconds with Sebastian Vettel’s Red Bull Renault a further 9.8 seconds away in third place
This is Raikkonen’s 20th Grand Prix win, his second since he came back to the sport and his second at Albert Park.
