Neemuch girl plays drum for 31 hours, breaks world record Tuesday Aug 23,2016


A 23-year-old girl from a small village in Neemuch(a town in the Malwa region of the Indian state of Madhya Pradesh) broke the world record to drum non-stop for 24 hours in Indore on Tuesday Aug 23,2016

The girl Shrishti Patidar after breaking the record at 11 am on Tuesday, did not stop, and has set the target for continuing her non-stop rendition till 31 hours.

The present record was held by an American girl for beating drum 24 hour non-stop.

“Shrishti has volunteered to continue after breaking world record at 11am and her performance is expected to be over by 8pm,” her mentor Babloo Sharma told

Babloo Sharma runs a drumming institute and Shrishti has learnt drumming under his tutelage in Indore.

Shrishti is a native of small village Palda under tehsil Rampura in Neemuch district. Her record breaking effort had started at 11am on August 22,2016

Babloo Sharma is also a noted drummer who has exhibited his brilliance in India and abroad.
