Samsung India has opened its largest exclusive experience store in
the country.
The store is located in South Extension, New Delhi and is spread across 3,500 sq. ft.
Consumers can experience the all-new 4D Chair that provides a life-like, immersive Gear VR experience.
The 4D chair uses hydraulics mechanism that makes the chair move physically giving the consumer a life-like experience and mimicking the movements that are shown in the Gear VR.
This will be the first store in the country to offer such an experience.
Much like a 4D movie.
The new Samsung Exclusive Store will also have a device unboxing and set-up area, which will offer personalised setup. Mobile devices, including the 2016 flagship Galaxy S7, Galaxy S7 Edge and the recently launched Galaxy Note7, will be made available at the all-new store.
The store will also house the latest Gear VR, Wearables and Accessories, which will augment the device experience.
The move is not that surprising as Apple is also all set to launch Apple Stores in India later this year. Apple is known for having experience stores (Apple Stores) like these where consumers can come and experience the products before buying them.
Chinese companies like Gionee and Le Eco also plan to open up such experience stores in the country soon.
It took Samsung almost a decade to open an experience store like this in India.
Clearly, it is gearing up for a tough competition ahead from new Chinese tech entrants and Apple.
