The trial run of India's first driver-less metro train was conducted by the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) on Tuesday May 17,2016
The trial run was flagged off by Union Minister for Urban Development M Venkaiah Naidu and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal.
The trial was conducted from Delhi Metro's new Mukundpur depot to Majlis Park.
Soon after inaugurating the India's first driver-less metro train, Urban Development M Venkaiah Naidu tweeted, "The new trains put on trials today, will run from Majlis Park – Shiv Vihar and Janakpuri West – Botanical Garden."
