Sony Launches in India 'World's Fastest' Autofocus Camera at Rs 74,990

Adding another feather to its cap of introducing advanced camera systems, Sony has launched what is touted as the world's fastest autofocus camera - the α6300 - that can focus on a subject in as little as 0.05 seconds.

The mirrorless camera comes with 425 phase detection AF points and it can shoot images up to 11 frames per second with continuous autofocus and exposure tracking.

The α6300 further comes with an LCD screen that supports full live-view continuous shooting at up to 8 frames per second. The camera is equipped with a 24.2 megapixel APS-C sized Exmor CMOS sensor that works with a BIONZ X image processing engine to produce dynamic image quality.

It further allows hi-resolution 4K video recording in 35mm format. The recording time is up to 29 minutes.

Other enhancements to the α6300 include silent shooting functionality, the ability to use AF in focus magnifier mode, expanded flexible spot AF, Eye AF in AF-C mode, microphone line input, and more.

The camera is not only robust in terms of design but is also dust and moisture resistant. It comes with WiFi and NFC compatibility.

The Sony α6300 (with SELP1650) lens is priced at Rs 74,990 and available at all Sony Center, Alpha flagship stores and major electronic stores across India.
