Only recently Kamal Haasan became the first south Indian actor to speak
at the Harvard University.
Now, the Ulaganayagan has been bestowed with another international honour — the Henri Langlois Award — for his contribution to cinema.
The award is instituted after celebrated French
film archivist Henri Langlois, who had been honoured with an honorary
Oscar in 1974.
