Holi, the spring festival, celebrated as a two day festival
The first day of the spring festival is known as Holika Dahan or Chhoti Holi and the second day is known as Rangwali Holi, Dhuleti, Dhulandi or Dhulivandan.
Holi celebrations start on the night of Chhoti Holi with a Holika bonfire where people gather, sing, dance and party.
The next morning is celebrated as Rangwali Holi where people pelt and attack each other with coloured power and water balloons.
Google has come up with a vivid doodle. It is an animated doodle which has the Google logo written with pale yellow. Within seconds you see gusts and puffs of colour powder covering the logo in numerous shades of joy
