Which one is the mom? Internet baffled by this image of an ageless woman and her twin daughters

 

'Mom, twin & me [sic],' Kaylan captioned the image, which has been retweeted more than 20,000 times since it was posted on January 28,2016

 

In the picture, the three women can be sitting in the car. While the two women in the front both have their hair parted in the center, the woman in the backseat has hers parted to the side. 

However, the women in the center and right of the baffling snapshot have similar eyebrows, leaving many to wonder who is who.  

A few days later, Kaylan confirmed @KingColorado0's hunch that her mother is the woman on the left in the black blazer.

Just a year after 2015's wide-spread internet debate over the color of 'The Dress', social media users are now up in arms again over which woman is the mother in an image that appears to show triplets - not a pair of twins and their mom.

When Kaylan Mahomes, a high school student from Indianapolis, took to  Twitter to share a car selfie featuring her twin Kyla and their mother last week, she was most likely unaware that the photo would take the internet by storm
