Effective Sunday Nov 15,2015, the Government will levy a Swachh Bharat Cess
on all services that are taxed.
The cess will be levied at the rate of 0.5 %
The Finance Ministry has said it will have only marginal impact on consumer prices, "translating into a tax of 50 paisa on every Rs. 100 worth of taxable services".
