Glass firm Saint Gobain Sekurit India has decided to shut down its plant in Maharashtra with effect from Monday as the facility had become economically unviable.
“It has
been decided to close the Bhosari plant of the company with effect from
the close of business hours on November 30 2015, as it is economically
unviable to continue the operations of this plant,” Saint Gobain said in
a BSE filing.
The company had earlier on August 31,2015 informed about its decision to shut the plant.
