Puducherry Launches Free Bicycle Scheme for School Students Thursday Nov 26,2015

Puducherry Chief Minister N Rangasamy has launched the Rs. 7.68 crore scheme to distribute bicycles to students of government schools and also government aided institutions in the Union Territory free of coast - total of 26,207 students would be covered under the scheme.

Department of Social Welfare is the nodal agency for operating the scheme.
