2015 India Vs South Africa - BCCI Announces India Squad for the last two ODI's and first two Test Matches Monday Oct 19,2015

 

On Monday Oct 19,2015, BCCI selection panel, led by chief selector Sandeep Patil, announced a 16-member Indian squad for the first two Tests of the four-match series against the Proteas starting onNovember 05,2015

The All-India Senior Selection Committee met in New Delhi earlier today to select the following squads.

1. Team India for the last two ODIs of the Paytm ODI Trophy against South Africa

2. Team India for the first two Test matches of the Paytm Freedom Trophy against South Africa

3. Boards President XI for a two-day warm-up match against South Africa

The squads are as follows.

India ODI squad: MS Dhoni (capt, wk), Rohit Sharma, Shikhar Dhawan, Ajinkya Rahane, Virat Kohli, Suresh Raina, Axar Patel, Harbhajan Singh, Amit Mishra, Mohit Sharma, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, S Arvind, Stuart Binny, Ambati Rayudu, Gurkeerat Mann .

India Test squad (first two Tests): Virat Kohli (capt), Murali Vijay, Shikhar Dhawan, Cheteshwar Pujara, Ajinkya Rahane, Rohit Sharma, Wriddhiman Saha (wk), R Ashwin, Ravindra Jadeja, Amit Mishra, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Umesh Yadav, KL Rahul, Stuart Binny, Varun Aaron, Ishant Sharma.

 

Note

South Africa lead the five-match ODI series 2-1. The remaining two matches will be played in Chennai and Mumbai respectively.

The Test series will begin from November 5 with Mohali, Bengaluru, Nagpur and Delhi as the venues respectively
