Voting for the first phase of the Bihar Assembly elections will
be held on October 12. A total of 586 candidates are contesting for 49
seats and 1.35 crore voters will exercise their franchise.
HAM (S) state president Shakuni Chaudhary, LJP MP Ram Chandra Paswan's son Prince Raj, Congress MLA Ajit Sharma, BJP MLA Surendra Mehta are some of the key candidates fighting the first phase of polls.
