2015 IPL Season 8 - Kevin Pietersen to join Sunrisers Hyderabad on Friday May 15,2015

 Sunrisers Hyderabad on Wednesday May 13,2015 announced the arrival of former England skipper Kevin Pietersen who will join the team  on Friday May 15,2015   Sunrisers Hyderabad currently lie third in the overall standings with 14 points thanks to a solid run of form that has seen the squad win four of their last five matches Pietersen, or KP as he is known, made his IPL debut in 2009 and has played 32 games so far, scoring 928 runs at a strike rate of 136.07.

KP has a calf injury and will not fly to India to play in the 2015 IPL Season 8 as he had planned

KP sustained an injury playing for Surrey against Leicestershire in the county championship, a match in which he completed a career-best 355 not out on Tuesday, and will be out of action for two weeks. The IPL concludes on May 24,2015
