2015 Yonex All England Open Badminton Barclaycard Arena, Birmingham March 03-08,2015

 
The All England Open Badminton Championships, or simply All England, is one of the world's oldest and most prestigious badminton tournaments. Played annually, it developed after the success of the world's first badminton tournament held in Guildford in 1898

The tournament was successfully organised on April 4, 1899, however only three categories (Men's Doubles, Women's Doubles and Mixed Doubles) were originally staged. Both Men's and Women's Singles were added the following year

The first three tournaments were named "The Open English Championships"

The tournaments were halted twice: during WWI  from 1915 to 1919 and WWII from 1940 to 1946

Defending Champions

Men's Singles - Lee Chong Wei(Malaysia)defeated Chen Long(PRC)21-13 and 21-18

Women's Singles - Wang Shixian(PRC)defeated Li Xuerui(PRC)21-19 and 21-18

Men's Doubles - Indonesain Pair Muhammad Ahsan & Hendra Setiawan defeated Japanese Pair Hiroyuki Endo & Kenichi Hayakawa 21- 19 and 21-19

Women's Doubles - China's Wang  Xiaoli & Yu Yang defeated Ma Jin & Tang Yuanting 21-17,18-21 & 23-21

Mixed Doubles - Indonesia's Tontowi Ahmad & Lilyana Natsir defeated China's Zhang Nan & Zhao Yunlei 21-13 and 21-17

  • Men's Singles
  • Women's Singles
  • Men's Doubles
  • Women's Doubles
  • Mixed Doubles
