Daily Thanthi, the UAE's first Tamil newspaper
was launched here on Tuesday for Tamilians who represent the second
highest Indian community in the country.
Daily Thanthi was launched by Tamil actors Prasanna, Sneha Prasanna and Sivakarthikeyan. It was inaugurated by Bala Aditya, Director of Dina Thanthi group
A 12 page launch edition was printed and distributed among guests. The newspaper will be published from the Khaleej Times office here.
Daily Thanthi often known as Dina Thanthi was founded by S.P. Adiathanar in 1942, Daily Thanthi was first published in Madurai. Over the years it spread out across Tamil Nadu and neighboring states of Karnataka and Pondicherry. It has today 15 editions in -
