The
Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) pulled up its MPs at the BJP Parliamentary
Party meeting on Tuesday and asked them to declare their assets by
Wednesday Dec 10,2014
Prime Minister Narendra Modi considers the move as key to
providing good governance and fighting black money.
“The
PM has been saying this from the very beginning. However, there are a
few MPs who have not declared assets even now,’ said a party leader.
The
diktat comes just weeks before the government celebrates ‘Good
Governance Day’ on December 25, 2014 the occasion of former PM Atal Bihari
Vajpayee’s birthday.
