Australia captain Michael Clarke has been passed fit to lead the side into the first test against India at Adelaide Oval on Tuesday Dec 09,2014
Michael Clarke had been struggling physically with a hamstring injury and emotionally in the aftermath of friend and former team mate Phillip Hughes's death, which caused the opening test to be postponed and moved from Brisbane.
But Clarke has been named in the side. And, as a tribute to their former team-mate, Phillip Hughes has been named as the 13th man

scored his second century of the match as Australia set the platform
for a final-day push for victory in the first Test against India in
Adelaide.
The
in-form opener added 102 to his first-innings 145, the second time in
2014 that he has scored two tons in a Test, having notched 135 and 145
against South Africa in March.
David Warner now has 1,061 runs in seven Tests in 2014, with 6 centuries and 3 half-centuries.
David Warner was
finally dismissed in the final session, bowled round his legs attempting
a reverse sweep at Karn Sharma, but Australia went on the offensive in
the closing stages.

Virat Kohli is the 4th Indian to score a century in each innings and the 7th instance of an Indian having scored twin tons. Vijay Hazare has done it once, Sunil Gavaskar achieved the feat three times while Rahul Dravid two hundreds in the same match twice. He is the first Indian to do it in Australia
India was 205-2 tea, still needing 159 runs for victory. Vijay (85) and Kohli (82) batted through the second session and added 100 runs to the India total.
