In a first, the Delhi Metro on Saturday inducted into its fleet a train with advertisements wrapped on its exterior, a move aimed at augmenting its non-operational revenues.
The train will run on the Dwarka-Vaishali route of DMRC's Blue Line which is one of the busiest in the entire Metro network.
"The exclusive advertising rights, valid for 10 years, have been given to two agencies and the selected agencies will give annual licence fee," said a DMRC spokesperson.
