US President Barack Obame Urge Russian President Valdimir Putin to Pull Troops Back Saturday March 01,2014

In a 90-minute telephone conversation, US President Barack Obama urged the Russian President Valdimir Putin to pull forces back to bases in Crimea.
In the 90-minute conversation with Putin, Obama condemned Russia’s military intervention, calling it a “clear violation of Ukrainian sovereignty and territorial integrity” and describing it as a breach of international law.
The US leader urged Russia to minimize tension by pulling back troops to bases in Crimea and refrain from any involvement in affairs anywhere else in Ukraine.

Russian President Valdimir Putin responded by saying that Moscow reserves the right to protect its interests and those of Russian speakers in Ukraine in the event of violence breaking out in eastern Ukraine and Crimea.
