Colombia's Bicameral Congress consists of -
Senate(Upper House)-102 members elected for concurrent (non-rotating) 4-year terms.
Chamber of Representatives(Lower House)- 166 elected members for 4-year terms
There are 773 candidates for the Senate, 1528 candidates for the Chamber of Representatives, and 23 candidates for the five Colombian seats in the Andean Parliament
32,795,962 Colombians had been registered to vote in the elections by the cut-off date of Jan 25,2014
Colombian President Jose Manuel Santos is seeking a second term in May 2014 Presidential Election and his three party coalition government is expected to retain control of both chambers of Congress.
