Pope Francis Makes Visit to Pope Emeritus Benedict XVI for Christmas Monday, Dec. 23, 2013.

 

Pope Francis visits his predecessor, Emeritus Pope Benedict XVI, to exchange Christmas greetings at his Vatican home 

 

The two popes also prayed together in the adjoining chapel

 

Since Benedict's retirement in February, the two men have only met once in public for an official Vatican ceremony in July
