Miss World 2013 will be the 63rd edition of the Miss World Pageant to be held in September 28, 2013 in Bali,Indonesia
Indonesia will host the Miss World pageant for the first time and this will also be the first time the pageant will be held in South East Asia
After protests from hard-line Muslims threatened to force the pageant out of Indonesia, Miss World Organization Chairwoman Julia Morley supports not having a swimsuit competition in Miss World 2013. This will be the 1st edition of Miss World without a swimsuit event.

Miss World Beach Fashion 2013
Miss World Beach Fashion 2013 qualifiers were announced on September 9 after a Balinese sarong presentation held at Westin Resort, Nusa Dua. At the first round, the judges have chosen 33 contestants. After the second round of the contest, the judges picked the top 10. However, the judges couldn't decide who to put through as the 10th finalist, so they put through both of them

Miss World Sports Challenge 2013
Miss World Sports Challenge 2013 qualifiers were announced on September 9. First qualifier, the contestants had to perform a selection of four fitness exercises, for 30 seconds per exercise. After each routine, the total number of repetitions were added together giving them a total score. The top 4 from each group were then selected to go through onto tomorow's final round of sports events. There was also a reserve from each group selected to stand in incase for any reason one of the select few can not take part in the finals on September 10.

US bornMegan Young(23)beat 126 other contestants and pledged to be "the best Miss World ever".
The competition was moved to Bali from the capital, Jakarta, because of protests from hardline Muslim groups
Security for Sep 28,2013 Saturday's event was high in Bali, a resort island with a majority Hindu population, but no further demonstrations were reported
Miss France, Marine Lorphelin, came second in the contest and
Miss Ghana, Carranzar Naa Okailey Shooter, took third place.
