Rishikesh( is a name of Vishnu that means 'lord of the senses')
has a permanent population of merely 75,000, the city attracts hundreds

Free City by Law. The Sacred River Ganges flows through Rishikesh and
it is here that the river leaves the Shivalik Mountains in the Himalayas
and flows out into the plains of Northern India.
