Hector Moreno rescued a Confederations Cup point for Mexico with a stoppage-time header against Portugal.
It had seemed as though Cedric had handed all three points to the European champions when he fired Portugal in front in the 85th minute but Mexico and Moreno had other ideas.
Earlier, Javier Hernandez stooped low to nod home with four minutes of the first half remaining to cancel out Ricardo Quaresma's opener
