The purported system works by sending a surge of gas into a barrel containing a micro-particle that pierces the skin.
Google further explains that such a system might be used to draw a small amount of blood, for example, for a glucose test, which means potential use for the patients diagnosed with diabetes.
Under its Life Sciences' projects, the company is already working on two devices for the diabetics: smart contact lenses and a cloud-connected sensor for monitoring glucose levels.
Similar to other patents (pending or approved), this one too doesn't necessary ensure its conversion into a final product
