Chennai schools, colleges to remain shut till December 9,2015

Schools and colleges in Chennai will remain shut on Tuesday and Wednesday. City Collector E. Sundaravalli said: "To clean and dry the zone, holiday declared for schools and colleges tomorrow and day after in Chennai." 

Residents of the city may have to be prepared for more spells of rains this week. According to the Meteorological department, the rains may be moderate and continue till Wednesday and may begin to recede on Thursday
