The offer, however, is limited for three days, starting from November 14 to 16 and comes at a price of $200-250 (around Rs 15,000) per person per flight that will not last more than an hour.
These balloons will be of different capacities, ferrying a minimum of two and a maximum of eight people. The flight will start from 7 am and continue till 9 pm. Balloons, however, will not be allowed to fly in close proximity of Taj.
“There will be 11 take-off points and the wind direction will play a key role to determine how the balloons will fly. A night before, weather inputs will also be taken from the Met department,” said, Avinash Chandra Mishra, deputy director, UP tourism.
The festival is being held in association with E-Factor Group through its brand Sky Waltz, a company that operates commercial hot air ballooning flights and hosts various such events across the world
Tourists, both domestic and foreign will have a unique opportunity to have a bird’s eye view of the monument of love, Taj Mahal next month.
