Domino's launches new pizza delivery cars with built-in oven, navigation

The days of pizzas being delivered in a boring hot bag are passé. Domino’s has introduced a new way of bringing your favourite pizza at your doorstep, all while keeping it warm and safe!

Welcome,Dominos DXP(Delivery Expert)- A Chevy Spark that functions as a pizza storage unit and includes a built-in warming oven to keep the comfort food warm and unhurt from the external climate.

Fleet of the ‘ultimate pizza delivery vehicle’ features a taxi-like delivery roof light, navigation, and puddle light projecting so that the driver can avoid puddles when they step out in the unfavourable climate.

The delivery car has been reconfigured to keep just the driver's seat and remove everything else which allows it to carry large orders for schools, businesses and special events as well as home delivery.
The Domino's DXP has the capacity to accommodate up to 80 pizzas, along with other menu items including salads, wings and 2-liter bottles of soda.

Russell Weiner, president of Domino's USA said,"This innovation allows drivers to do their jobs with greater ease and efficiency, and demonstrates that Domino's is absolutely fanatical about making perfect deliveries."
"Even though Domino's deliveries will still primarily be made in the personal cars of delivery drivers," said Weiner, "the Domino's DXP represents an innovative leap into the 21st century and takes delivery to a new level of efficiency and quality."

Domino's is working with Roush Enterprises to convert and deliver 100 DXPs to 25 markets across the US.
