Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, on Friday Oct 09,2015, expelled Food and Civil
Supplies Minister Asim Ahmed Khan from the cabinet on corruption
charges.
Announcing the decision at the Delhi Secretariat, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal said he
had decided to expel Food and Civil
Supplies Minister Asim Ahmed Khan and would refer the matter to the Central
Bureau of Investigation (CBI) for further investigation.
Ballimaran MLA Imran Hussain will replace Mr. Khan, it has been decided.
Mr. Khan is accused of 'cutting a deal worth Rs. 6 lakh' with a local
builder'.
