Students and teachers protesting against what they call inadequate education reforms, are dispersed by the police with a water cannon during clashes in Santiago, on June 11, 2015 hours before the kick-off of the 2015 Copa America continental football tournament here in Chile.

Thousands of demonstrators took to the streets of Santiago to condemn President Michelle Bachelet's reforms, claiming they fall short of overhauling an unequal education system inherited from the 1973-1990 dictatorship of late ruler Augusto Pinochet
