Interested buyers can pre-book the car by paying Rs. 25,000 to be among the first ones to get the delivery of the car.
Since the production of the car is on full swing at MSI's Gurgaon-based facility, we expect it to be launched by the end of July 2015.
Maruti Suzuki's first crossover - the S-Cross - will initially be launched with two Fiat-sourced diesel engine options - a 1.3-litre multijet and 1.6-litre multijet. While the former churns out a maximum power output of 89bhp and 200Nm of peak torque, the latter produces 118bhp and 320Nm.
Upon its launch, the Maruti Suzuki S-Cross will take on the likes of Renault Duster, Nissan Terrano and the upcoming Hyundai Creta
