2015 French Open Men's Singles QF's -Novak Djokovic beats Rafael Nadal Wednesday June 03,2015

 

Novak Djokovic became only the second man to beat Rafael Nadal at the French Open with a straight-sets victory in the quarter-finals in Paris.

Having lost to Nadal the past three years at Roland-Garros - and six times dating back to 2006 - Novak Djokovic finally bucked the trend against his nemesis in Paris. And he did so in style, coming through a torrid first set and improving as the match wore on to complete a 7-5, 6-3, 6-1 victory

Rafael Nadal, on his 29th birthday, suffered his first defeat in six years and his second in 72 matches at Roland Garros.
