Tata Nano Twist XT launched in India

Tata Motors have launched the much-awaited power steering variant of the Nano in India.

The Tata Nano Twist is available in a single variant, XT, and is priced at Rs 2.36 lakh, ex-Delhi.

The price is approximately Rs 14,000 more than the top-end non power-steering version of the Tata Nano

The Twist XT has a ZF-developed brushless motor power steering which also gets its own ECU which is placed under the dashboard

The steering system also gets Active Return, a feature, which returns the steering wheel to its original position once a turn has been executed.
Tata claims that this feature improves stability and hence driver confidence at higher speeds.

The Tata Nano Twist XT gets a revised instrument cluster with driver information system, digital clock and average fuel economy indicator

Tata has now given this car the necessary upgrades:

> Remote Keyless Entry

> New Gearshift Console

> Electric Power Assisted Steering

> Bluetooth Enabled Audio System

> New 'Damson Purple' Exterior Color

> New Seat and Door Pad Upholstery

> New Rear Parcel Shelf with Speakers

> Driver Information System (Trip Meter, Average Fuel Economy, Distance to Empty)

Available in a variety of colours - Damson Purple (New), Pearl White, Royal Gold, Papaya Orange, Meteor Silver and Dazzle Blue, the new Nano Twist will be available in the XT version, which replaces the previous top of the line LX version of the Nano range. All XT versions come with Beige interior with the exception of Dazzle Blue, which comes with sporty black interiors. The new Nano Twist XT is priced at Rs. 2.36 Lakhs, ex-showroom Delhi.

The Nano Twist will be available across all Tata Motors Authorized Dealerships, in a phased manner.
