Telugu Desam Party (TDP) chief N Chandrababu Naidu on Monday Oct 7,2013 began an indefinite hunger-strike in Delhi to protest against the Union Cabinet's decision regarding the proposed bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh.

N Chandrababu Naidu accused Congress of playing politics on the Telangana statehood issue by wooing both TRS and YSR Congress for electoral alliance

N Chandrababu Naidu who began his fast at Andhra Bhavan,Delhi was greeted by Janata Dal (United) president Sharad Yadav and CPI(M) leader Sitaram Yechury

Forcibly evicted to a hospital here on the fifth day of his fast, Chandrababu Naidu  is suffering from "mild dehydration" but has refused to take intravenous drip and wants to continue his hunger strike, doctors said on Friday Oct11,2013



Hundreds of slogan-shouting TDP workers resisted eviction of the protesting leader , jostling with around 50 policemen who had to use force to make their way towards the podium where Naidu was sitting
