Prince George Christening Wed Oct 23,2013

A giant Christening card is pictured outside the Royal Chapel in St James's Palace in Central London on October 22, 2013, where Prince George of Cambridge will be baptised.

 

 The card is signed by some 5,000 Christian well-wishers giving their blessings to Prince George and the Royal Family the day before his Christening.

Britain's Prince George(DOB July 22,2013)son of Prince William and Kate Duchess of Cambridge and who is third in line to the throne will be christened in the Chapel Royal inside the palace Wednesday Oct 23,2013

The christening was private, with only senior royals, four members of the Middleton family, the seven godparents and their spouses among the 22 guests

 The St James's Palace detachment of The Queen's Guard turns out in Colour Court, St James Palace, for the arrival of Queen Elizabeth II, ahead of the christening

The Queen and Prince Philip attended the ceremony

 

Archbishop of Canterbury Justin Welby conducted the ceremony

 

The proud parents are walked from the chapel by Justin Welby, the Archbishop of Canterbury who had just baptised George
