Vikram is playing a role of a blind  who practices the technique of echolocation(ability to detect objects, their position and size, just by sensing echoes).
The film crew revealed that the film was inspired by Daniel Kish, a visually challenged person who has revolutionised the concept of echo location or ‘seeing through sounds’

The guest list included directors Bala, Vetrimaran, Lingusamy, Vasanthabalan, actors Karthi, R Parthiban, Atharva and Janani Iyer.

The event celebrated G V Prakash’s completion of 25 films as a composer

 

 

'Thaandavam' to be released in 40 locations in US

'Thaandavam'will be released in more than 40 locations including all major cities in US. Arkansas, Omaha NE, Des Moines Iowa.

Note - 'Anniyan', the most expensive south Indian film was released with 400 prints all over India. Whereas 'Raavanan' overtook this with its worldwide release in more than 2200 theatres.
