Monaco,officially the Principality of Monaco is a Sovereign City State, located on the French Rivera in Western Europe.
Monaco has an area of 1.98 km² (0.76 sq mi), and a Population of 35,986, making Monaco the 2nd Smallest(Vatican City being the first) and the Most Densely Populated Country in the World.
Monaco has a Land Border of only 4.4 km (2.7 mi), a Coastline of 4.1 km (2.5 miles), and a width that varies between 1.7 km (1.1 mi) and 349 metres (382 yards)
In 1993 Monaco joins the United Nations, becoming its smallest member state.
Monaco does not levy income tax on its residents.

Monaco is a principality governed under a form of constituitonal Monarchy as Head of State.Monaco is ruled by the Grimaldi Dynasty.
Head of State of Monaco

Albert II, Sovereign Prince of Monaco is the Head of the House of Grimaldi and the Ruler of the Principality of Monaco. Albert II is the son of Rainier III,Prince of Monaco and the American Actress Grace Kelly.
Albert II is sworn in as head of state in July 2005 following the death of  Rainier III,Prince of Monaco  at the age of 81.

The National Council  has 24 members elected for a 5year term by universal suffrage

 

Monaco Grand Prix

 

The Monaco Grand Prix, Formula One Motor Race held each year on the Circuit de Monaco Run since 1929.It is the only Grand Prix that does not adhere to the FIA's mandated 305 km minimum race distance.Since 1955, the Monaco Grand Prix  has been held annually in the streets of Monaco.
