M S Dhoni entered the 150-matches club for Chennai Super Kings in the Indian Premier League, as CSK takes on KXIP at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai Saturday.
Dhoni became the second player to play 150 IPL matches for CSK after Suresh Raina, who had achieved the distinction last Sunday against Rajasthan Royals.
Incidentally, Dhoni is playing his 50th IPL match for CSK at Chepauk, something Raina against has achieved in the previously mentioned match against RR.
In that game, as Raina completed the milestone, Dhoni finished with an unbeaten 75 - his second highest score in the IPL and his highest in Chennai
Overall, Suresh Raina leads the chart for most matches played for CSK with 176 (includes matches played in the Champions League) as MS Dhoni is second on that list too, with 174. The third on that list is Ravichandran Ashwin with 121 matches for CSK.
