Rahul Tripathi has been one of the finds in Indian Premier League (IPL) 2017
The 26-year-old Rising Pune Supergiant player is his team’s top-scorer and is at the fifth spot in the overall list.
This is Rahul Tripathi’s maiden IPL season and he has so far scored 352 run in 9 matches.
He has also scored two half-centuries.
His 52-ball 93 against Kolkata Knight Riders ensured that RPS rode to the third spot in the points table.

Rahul Tripathi hails from Maharashtra and was bought for a base price of Rs 10 lakh in the 2017 auction. He is a Bachelor of science in mathematics and is the son of an army-man.
The RPS opener made his first-class debut for Maharashtra against Baroda in 2012. However, 2014-15 was his standout season as he scored more than 500 runs as his team entered the semi-final of Ranji Trophy. He also scored 492 runs in 2015-16 season.
He has been a brilliant player for Maharashtra in age-group level tournaments. He was the highest run-getter in the 2009-10 Under-19 Cooch Behar Trophy.
So far, is 26 first-class matches Tripathi has scored 1245 runs at 31.92. He has three centuries to his name with his highest score being 132.
In 15 List A matches, Tripathi has scored 371 runs at 24.73. He has scored three half-centuries in the format.
